Products from the same company usually work seamlessly together; for instance, Apple’s AirPods Pro wireless headphones work best with the Apple iPhone, and similarly, Google’s Pixel Buds Pro wireless headphones are designed specifically for Google’s Pixel smartphones.
The same applies to Huawei’s FreeBuds Pro wireless headphones, which perform optimally with the company’s Mate smartphones, as well as Samsung’s Galaxy Buds, which showcase their best performance with Samsung Galaxy phones.
A report by the German news agency attempted to answer the often-asked question of whether it’s possible to use a specific wireless headphone with smartphones from other companies, such as using Apple’s AirPods Pro with devices running on the Google Android operating system or vice versa when using other wireless headphones with an iPhone.
Sometimes, there are sufficient reasons for users to switch between wireless headphones and smartphones; the wireless headphones from the four companies differ in terms of sound quality and the implementation of active noise cancellation (ANC) function, aimed at reducing annoying noise in the user’s surrounding environment, for example, when riding a train or airplane.
These models no longer differ in terms of connectivity ports, as Apple abandoned the Lightning port in the second generation of AirPods Pro 2, allowing them to be charged via a USB-C cable.
