The artificial intelligence applications company, Open AI, has launched a platform to provide personalized versions of its AI chatbot service, ChatGPT, after months of delay, according to a report from the German news agency.
The new platform, called “ChatGPT Plus,” relies on conversational AI technology but specializes in performing specific tasks.
According to the agency’s report, the ChatGPT Plus platform will become more adept at addressing the unique needs of each user. For example, it might suggest shortcut routes to destinations or propose recipes to help solve mathematical problems.
Open AI, owned by the American software empire Microsoft, intends to explain how developers can use the ChatGPT Plus service to generate revenue through it by the end of the current quarter.
Open AI announced the platform in November, expressing a desire to launch it quickly, but the company faced a crisis that led to the postponement of the move. The board of directors removed CEO and co-founder Sam Altman from his position, and he later returned to his role due to protests from employees and investors about his removal.
Open AI states that users have already developed over 3 million specialized versions of ChatGPT since the announcement of the service two months ago. The current number of available versions on the platform has not been clarified yet.
