Mozilla, the American company, has launched the new version 122 of its popular browser, Firefox. The browser is available for operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, and Linux, according to the German news agency.
The US company explained that the new version, 122, addresses several security vulnerabilities, two of which were described as critical.
In addition to patching security vulnerabilities, version 122 also introduces some new features, including the display of images and descriptions when searching in the browser’s address bar, provided that the search engine used supports this feature.
The browser also introduces a password key feature that allows login without a password using fingerprint recognition or facial recognition on smartphones or using security keys.
Firefox 122 now provides support for password keys that rely on operating system solutions such as “Microsoft Windows Hello” or “Apple iCloud Keychain.”
Mozilla has also made adjustments to the relatively new translation feature to make it more stable by fixing issues related to content disappearance or the malfunction of interactive tools.
Firefox 122 can also use artificial intelligence to detect potential fake reviews on Amazon. However, this feature is still in the experimental stage and not yet available as a standard feature.
