Dell has launched the second generation of the Alienware x16 R2 gaming laptop, targeting gaming enthusiasts, with a starting price of $2,099.
The American company explained that the new Alienware x16 R2 laptop comes in an extremely slim body made entirely of magnesium and aluminum alloy, weighing 2.72 kg and measuring no more than 18.6 mm thick.
The new laptop operates on a 90-watt-hour battery and features a Cherry MX Ultra Low Profile mechanical keyboard.
Cooling System
Additionally, the laptop is equipped with a cooling system consisting of 4 fans, a vapor chamber, and an Element 31 thermal connector. The cooling system is crucial for such devices, which include an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, 16GB GDDR6 RAM, as well as 32GB of RAM and internal storage of up to 8TB.
The new laptop comes with a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 * 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. There is also a version with a 1080-pixel screen and a refresh rate of 480 Hz. Depending on the configuration, there is a 240-watt or 360-watt GaN charger available.
The laptop is equipped with several connectivity ports, including 2 USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, 2 USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a mini-DisplayPort 1.4, a microSD card reader, and RGB lighting on the keyboard and touchpad.
