Google has initiated the integration of its latest artificial intelligence program, “Gemini,” into various applications, positioning it as a strong contender against last year’s groundbreaking “ChatGPT” robot.
Among the latest program releases is “Gemini Pro,” incorporated into the Bard chat bot, challenging “ChatGPT” in providing intelligent responses to queries.
Currently, Google’s “Gemini” exclusively supports the English language, with ongoing efforts to extend its language support.
The name “Gemini Pro” might imply a subscription requirement, but it’s available for free through “Bard.” Users can also opt for the free version of “Bard” utilizing “ChatGPT” or may need to pay for a subscription to use the fourth version of “ChatGPT,” as reported by Wired.
Google is also experimenting with an upgraded version of “Gemini Ultra,” elevating the “Bard” robot to a higher tier. Whether it will be a paid or free subscription remains undisclosed.
All that’s required is a Google account and a standard browser to access “Bard,” though it’s crucial to note that “Gemini” is still in a trial phase and may encounter some programming errors with the chat robot “Bard.”
“Bard” may share commonalities with other chat robots and may have some intricacies in generating information.
Google asserts that “Gemini” represents a novel type of artificial intelligence model capable of working with texts, images, and videos. It is poised to be a pivotal algorithm in Google’s history, as per a prior Wired report.
According to Google, “Gemini” will operate with more adaptable models, ranging from data centers to mobile devices, offered in three models:
- Gemini Ultra: Tailored for large and complex work models.
- Gemini Pro: Geared for a broad spectrum of tasks.
- Gemini Nano: Designed for tasks on standalone devices.
Google underscores that the “Gemini Ultra” version, still in testing, is designed to tackle intricate tasks across texts, images, videos, and diverse programming codes.
