Apple, the renowned American tech company, has unveiled the latest additions to its product lineup, introducing new tablets in the MacBook Pro and iMac series along with the introduction of the M3 processors. The announcement took place during an event titled “Scary Fast.”
Johnny Surugi, Apple’s Vice President, shared details about the new MacBook Pro models, available in 14 and 16 inches. These devices boast a sleek Space Black color and are equipped with the cutting-edge M3, M3 Max, and M3 Max processors. These processors leverage a 3-nanometer manufacturing process, akin to the technology used in the A17 Pro chip featured in recent iPhone releases.
Apple highlighted that these new chips promise heightened speeds, superior quality, and an extended battery life of up to an impressive 22 hours for the MacBook Pro. Furthermore, the M3 processors bring advanced capabilities tailored for developers and professionals.
The M3 chip series specifically targets improvements in graphics performance, enhancing ray-tracing precision to elevate the visual experience, especially catering to avid gamers.
Despite the recent shift in iPhones to USB-C charging ports, Apple’s MacBook Pro continues to feature the Lightning ports for the keyboard and various mouse options, including Magic, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Mouse.
This event marks Apple’s second foray into introducing new updates for Mac computers. In an earlier event in January, they revealed versions of the MacBook Pro equipped with the new M2 Pro and M2 Max processors, accompanied by refreshed editions of the desktop “Mac Mini.”
