Honda Motor, the Japanese car manufacturer, unveiled two concept cars that fall under the ZERO electric series by Honda and are set to hit the markets in 2026.
The unveiling took place during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 held in Las Vegas, USA, where the “Smart Life” program conducted a special coverage.
The two fully electric cars are the “Honda Saloon” and the “Space Hop,” both of which are larger in size and multi-purpose.
The Saloon model is based on a unique Honda electric platform, featuring a futuristic sporty design, a low structure, and a spacious interior cabin with a top-hinged door for both front and rear seats.
The interior cabin, with a simple design, includes a dashboard extending from the right corner to the left corner.
The Japanese company did not provide any specifications regarding range or performance, but it states that the Saloon model will use sustainable, renewable materials both inside and outside.
As for the “Space Hop,” it’s an electric bus characterized by a futuristic space design with many glass interfaces.
The company promises that its electric vehicles from the “ZERO” series will come with advanced autonomous driving capabilities and communication technology, as well as improved performance and battery efficiency.
