Content creator known as “MrBeast,” whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, announced that he earned $263,000 from a single video he posted on the platform “X” (formerly known as Twitter). This comes after the video surpassed 156 million views. This is the first video that the YouTuber has posted on the “X” platform, and he shared it on January 16. MrBeast expressed amazement at the size of the profits he generated in just one week.
MrBeast, one of the most followed personalities on YouTube, had previously declined Elon Musk’s request to post his videos on the “X” platform before changing his mind. Elon Musk aims to make the “X” platform an “all-in-one app,” similar to the Chinese WeChat app, combining instant messaging, social media, long-form video content, video conferences, and other features.
At the age of 25, MrBeast has millions of followers on YouTube, and his videos garner hundreds of millions of views. In 2022, Forbes estimated MrBeast’s earnings on YouTube to be around $54 million per year, derived from advertising revenues and sponsorship deals.
MrBeast’s activities are not limited to creating videos; he also owns a fast-food restaurant chain called MrBeast Burger.
