Many laptops equipped with the Windows Copilot operating system were showcased at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show. The Copilot button, located next to the space bar on the keyboard’s right side, activates the artificial intelligence assistant of the same name.
The Copilot assistant responds to queries and completes tasks using artificial intelligence, similar to GPT chat. Microsoft has announced the integration of the Copilot assistant into the Microsoft Office 365 software package and the Bing search engine.
Laptops are no longer limited to high-performance, bulky gaming models. ASUS introduced its “ROG Zephyrus G14,” challenging the Razer Blade 14 model. The ASUS device, housed in an aluminum body, features a 14-inch screen, an AMD Ryzen 9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics, weighing 1.5 kg and measuring only 1.59 cm in thickness.
Despite appearing as a compact business-oriented device, the laptop includes an LED strip on the cover that can be used to create various effects. ASUS also offers the “Zephyrus G16,” featuring a 16-inch screen, more powerful processors, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics, catering to gaming enthusiasts seeking larger screens and more powerful processors.
ASUS previously introduced the ZenBook Duo with a secondary screen above the keyboard. In the current 2024 model, ASUS redesigned the ZenBook Duo, resembling the Lenovo Yoga Book with a 13-inch screen, equipped with two OLED screens of the same size.
Similar to other laptops, there is a screen on the cover and another in the supposed keyboard area. The screens can be opened horizontally or vertically using a foldable stand, or placed flat.
If users prefer traditional laptop use, they can display the keyboard on the second screen and use the ZenBook Duo like any traditional laptop, equipped with Intel processors and up to 32GB of RAM.
