Huawei has officially unveiled the Nova 12 Lite, a new addition to its mid-range smartphone lineup, featuring a Qualcomm processor and a sophisticated camera setup.
The Chinese tech giant shared that the Nova 12 Lite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, providing 4G connectivity without support for 5G networks. Notably, the phone allows users to operate two SIM cards simultaneously.
Measuring at 161.3 × 75 × 6.9 mm (6.35 × 2.95 × 0.27 inches), the device offers internal storage options of 256GB and 512GB, with no provision for memory expansion. The Nova 12 Lite showcases a 6.7-inch display, delivering a resolution of 1084 × 2412 pixels and boasting a smooth refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
In the camera department, the Nova 12 Lite features a 50-megapixel primary camera alongside an 8-megapixel extremely wide-angle lens. The front-facing camera is particularly impressive, operating at a remarkable 60 megapixels, surpassing the resolution of the primary camera.
Huawei has integrated a fingerprint sensor directly into the screen, adding to the phone’s sleek design. The technological package is completed with a robust 4500mAh battery that supports rapid charging at up to 66 watts.
Available in white, blue, and black color variants, the Nova 12 Lite is expected to be priced around 320 euros, approximately equivalent to 350 dollars according to reports from GSMArena.
