The FPS game Deathloop from Arkane Lyon is now available for free on PC for Amazon Prime members. You have until January 10 to download the game. Additionally, you’ll need to link an active Epic Games Store account, a process made easy directly on the download page. According to an engadget report, this isn’t the first time Amazon has treated gamers, as last year, Dishonored 2, another classic from Arkane, was also given away to coincide with Prime Day.
As for Deathloop, it’s an outstanding title that blends the frenzy of a first-person shooter with the excitement of an old-school adventure like Myst. The game revolves around an escape room-like scenario in official reviews, summarizing to the player being trapped on a time-looped island resembling Groundhog Day, requiring them to find a way out. Packed with clever puzzles and intense combat, it’s no surprise coming from the creators of Dishonored.
In other words, this is one of the most enjoyable and unique releases for the current generation, making it a steal at full price. It’s also available on Game Pass if that’s in your library. Currently, Arkane is busy working on a Marvel-based vampire hunter game, Blade.
