Freshly leaked images of the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra provide a glimpse into the phone’s design slated for an early release next year.
As per details shared by a contributor on the XDA platform, the upcoming phone will feature a flat design, diverging from earlier leaks that suggested a pronounced curvature on the screen.
Samsung’s Galaxy phones have long been associated with the signature curved screens. While this characteristic imparts a sleek appearance and ease of one-handed use, the curved display also brings certain drawbacks, such as unintended touches and challenges in applying protective layers.
The revealed images showcase the rear camera layout of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, boasting three vertically aligned lenses and an additional standalone lens on the opposite side of the primary set. Notably, a fifth sensor is dedicated to laser autofocus (Laser AF) for swift and precise focus adjustments in low-light scenarios and close-up photography.
Recent reports affirm that the Galaxy S24 series is set to debut in mid-January 2024, with January 17th identified as the specific launch date, and market availability expected by January 30th.
Approaching the launch, the South Korean tech giant is actively securing the final licenses to introduce its new phone lineup across global markets. The model designation for the Galaxy S24, SM-S928B, has recently surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) platform, confirming Samsung’s regulatory approval for its introduction in the Indian market, as reported by 91Mobiles.
Anticipated features of the Galaxy S24 Ultra include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2500 Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of internal storage, and a robust 5000 mAh battery with 45W super-fast charging capabilities.
In a recent announcement, Samsung pledged the introduction of a new intelligent assistant named Galaxy AI for its diverse device lineup, encompassing flagship Galaxy smartphones. Although intricate technical details and specific functionalities remain undisclosed, the slated release in 2024 strongly hints at the Galaxy S24 series being the inaugural phones equipped with the innovative “Galaxy AI” assistant.
This cutting-edge Samsung assistant is expected to offer the AI Live Translate Call feature, enabling users to seamlessly continue voice calls, even when conversing with someone speaking an unfamiliar language. Samsung emphasized that its new intelligent assistant would leverage artificial intelligence techniques for real-time translation, presenting translated text on the user’s screen or delivering instantaneous voice translation throughout the call.
