Russian news agency TASS reported on Sunday that Andi Stone, the spokesperson for Meta platforms, has been added to Russia’s wanted list on undisclosed charges.
According to TASS, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal investigation against Stone, providing no details regarding the nature of the investigation or the specific charges.
Russia had previously banned the Meta-owned platforms Facebook and Instagram shortly after the military operation in Ukraine in February of the previous year. In March 2022, the Russian Investigative Committee announced a criminal investigation into the “unlawful actions of Meta employees,” pointing fingers at Stone for allegedly “lifting a ban on calls for violence against the Russian army on its platforms,” thereby inciting extremist activities.
The Russian-Ukrainian war persists on Sunday, with active fighting on all fronts as both sides strive for territorial gains.

The Ministry reported in a statement that air defense systems neutralized 9 unmanned aerial vehicles over Moscow, Tula, Kaluga, and Bryansk. Additionally, they noted the elimination of 11 drones over regions within the Central Federal District.
Furthermore, the Ministry announced the interception of two Ukrainian missiles over the Sea of Azov, heading towards Russian territories. This occurred just hours after the declaration of shooting down drones over three Russian regions.
